Questions
Do I need internet for Tausi POS to work?
No. The server runs in your building and the counters connect over your own network. Internet is only used for updates and remote support.
How does the free trial work?
Every new install runs for 30 days with up to 2 counters. When you buy, we send a licence key you enter in the admin site. Nothing is lost when the trial ends.
What if my licence runs out on a busy night?
Service never stops. There is a grace period to renew, so a lapsed licence never locks the counters mid-service.
Can I move my menu from my current POS?
Yes. Send us a spreadsheet of your items and prices, or a SambaPOS export, and we import it during setup.
Will it work on my PCs and printers?
Most likely. Counters need Windows 10 or 11, and printers are standard 80 mm thermal. We check your hardware before installing. See what you need.
Who owns my data?
You do. It stays on your own server, backed up twice a day, and every report exports to Excel.
Is it eTIMS compliant?
KRA eTIMS is planned and not in Tausi POS yet. [Add a date once it's confirmed.]
